Yes, my gran will be moving just up the road to Southlands residential home. Her new room is on the ground floor, handy because theres no way she could manage stairs now, in the Rushen wing (each wing is named after a manx place/thing). Me and dad went to have a look at her room yesterday (Thursday) and its very nice. Just the right size for one person. Theres a bed (hight adujsutable), bedside cabinet, wardrobe, chest of drawers, points for TV & phone then a small bathroom, with toilet, sink and such (she'll be taken for showers/baths somewhere a bit further down the corridor). More or less next door to her room is the dining area and a sitting area. I think she'll like it there. Nan wasnt to keen on the idea at first but shes looking forward to it now. Heh we're kinda excited too :)

My jbs still goin well. Im hoping to find out if i'll be there permanantly. I think i will, especialy as it'll start getting busy at the hotel soon. Also one of the girls i work with will be leaving in a few weeks to go on maternity leave, for about a year she said. Wish her all the best :)
