I couldnt think of a title so.....was quite a tiring day at work today. Mainly because it was pretty warm in there, and the radiators being on full blast wasnt helping either. As i put in a txt to Darren "Bloody hell it was hot in there today!" Hopfuly it wont be as bad tomorrow.

Weathers been glorious today and even warm. PLus my 2 nephews, Peter & Joseph will be coming to stay with us for a week or 2 in August So will have to try and sort my room out (they sleep in my room when they come to stay).....hmmmm, not easy when its tiny, limited storage space and loads of stuff. Will just have to do the best i can.

My tomato seeds are thriving, theres about nearly 20 seedlings now.

My tomato seeds, that is. After moving them out of the shed and into the lean-to they have sprung into life and i have about 10-11 seedlings now Dunno how many more'l pop up. The pack had aprox 50 seeds in it so.....maybe i could sell some. Im sure lots of people like beef tomatos. Heres hoping i get a good crop when they fruit

HAPPY ST GEORGES DAY

Even though i had to work that morning i still had a great birthday. I love my Nintendo Wii! Ive been playing Super Paper Mario (what Darren baught me for bithday). I also got 2 DVDs, a box of chocies and a cute color changing teddy oh and £100 off my nan too.

I am aching like buggery (if you'll pardon my french). I seriously ache all over....round my ribs and back, my right shin is killin me as is my left big toe (maybe i need different shoes, trainers maybe more comfy). Im not complaining though (well maybe a wee bit). I just gotta get used to working again and to this sort of job. Like i said before it beats the factory. Feels nice to be up and moving round instead of beaing sat down all day. And gets me outta the house and money into my bank account.

Well work was goin ok till about 10am when the fire alarm went off! Talk about earsplitting!!!! My ears are still, well, its like a whistlng noise. Turns out one of the Laura's had put some toast on and forgotten about it, ooops! Plus i think i bruised my bum....on our way down to reception, when the alarm went off, to get the keys an check all the rooms i slipped going down some stairs and landed rather hard on my bum, which is a bit sore now and im sure i have a bruise there *rubs it* Plus the left side of my neck has been killin me today, think i musta slept funny. Other than that my day was alright.

Oh yeah! I got 2 birthday cards today...from my brother Kev and his wife and one from their 2 boys

His operation went well. He has 2 stitches in his tail and has them out in 10 days (unless he takes them out hmself, that is). He's doing well. It was weird not having him around.

Tis my day off tomorrow, so im looking forward to a rest. Was another busy day, again getting rooms ready for new guests. Warm work, i can tell ya. Very quiet though, which i like It is nice to be working again. May have another early night. I was in bed for about 10pm last night.

Bobby is at the vets tomorrow to have the warty thing taken off his tail. Hopfuly that'll make him more comfy cos it has been annoying him.

Yeah, busy busy. We had to get rooms ready for the next guests (not sure how many rooms but it was quite a few). This involved a lot of vacuming (oohh me back!), puttin pillow cases on the pillows, making up beds, making sure they all had towels and tea packs and stuff. So yeah im rather worn out. Just me and Christine working tomorrow, 9 to 1.30, usual housekeeping i think. Same on Sunday. Im still liking it though, and the people too.

The backs of my legs (where ya knees bend) have been itching for some time now. Dunno why but its annoying. Maybe i should put something on them.

Sunday after next (the 20th) is my birthday!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! I'll finaly beable to get my mitts on my Nintendo Wii MWAAAHAHAHA I'm also getting The Condemed on DVD (starrig WWE superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin), so cant wait to watch that.

Another good day at work. Will be doing a bit over the weekend too, and Tuesday is my day off. Talking of Tuesday, Bobby is gonna have that warty thing removed off his tail (think i mentioned it in a previous post). It obviously annoys him cus he keeps chewin it and making it bleed, so removing it is the best optioni think. Should go ok.

I actualy enjoyed myself heh I was buddied up with Laura (one of, thre are 2 Laura's). And we went from room to room (that was on th list we had) and ade the beds, emptied the bins, made sure there was milk and packs of sugar, tea and coffee (i think), cleaned any dirty cups and saucers, and the bathrooms. Then when the rooms were finished, i went with Christine down to the laundry (in the hotel) and she showed me how the washing machines work and the dryers (or ovens, as she called them). Think we were done for about 1.30 so we wnt to the canteen for a while then not long after 2pm we decided to call it a day. Oh and im going back tomorrow. So yeah, i have a job,yay

....ok i think im pretty much ready for tomorrow. Got my bag ready, clothes ready. Still gotta make my sarnies though and decide what else to take with dinner, seeing as i dont know the times and stuff, breakes, etc. Im looking forward too it and am feeling very positive about it. If tomorrow goes well i'll have myself a job.

Had my dental checkup today. I swaer i was only in for like a minute! Lay down in the chair, dentist looks in my mouth, yes everything looks fine. I'll see you in 6 months. So yeah, s'all good

My jaw's achin a bit again, just a dull ache though. Not as bad as it can get. Needless to say ive been on painkillers all day just to give it a helping hand.

Weather was rather nice today. Sunnyish, slight breeze. Nice spring weather. Oh yeah, i sowed tomato seeds just over a week ago too. Beef tomatoes. No shoots yet, although the packet said it could take up to 2 weeks for them to start appearing. I normaly get a good crop when i sow tomoatoes. Even though i love to grow them i dont like eating them, unless theyre in ketchup heh.

I'm off to Darrens on Saturday. So a good time will be had, as always. Oh and not long till my birthday!!

...went very well. Christine (who Darren introduced me too and who lives across the street from me) showed me round the hotel, showing me different rooms, and there was some very nice ones too. Some had fantastic views of the bay Made me feel more comfortable being with someoen i kind of know.I'm going back next Tuesday to work from 9am till 2.30pm, see how i get on and if all goes well i shall have a job, even if it is only seasonal. But yeah im happy Also Darren has got a job there (again, he worked there last year too) s we'll be working together. But now i can relax.....until Thursday, i have a dental checkup on Thursday but hopfuly that'll go ok. Oh ya probably windering what i'll be doing...i'll be doing housekeeping (vacuming, cleaning, etc).
