The Blog Of Me

I was at Darrens yesterday, wasnt planning on staying too late, maybe till about 7.30pm.....that is untill we started playing Super Mario Galaxy in his Nintendo Wii. Talk about adictive!!! I ended up getting the 9.55pm bus and didnt get hom till almost 11pm. Well it was the #2, which goes round Port St Mary before getting to Port Erin. Adds a bit more time to the journey. But i will definatly be gettin a Nintendo Wii and Super Mario Galaxy....dunno when but i will and most likely i'll get Super Paper Mario too. Hmmmm...maybe i'll ask for it for my birthday. Only about 7-8 weeks away (in April, 20th...also Adolf Hitlers birthday.)

Ok first the jaw....my jaw started playing up again last night. Took some painkillers and put my bite plate in but got not much sleep. It was the right side, which is the side i sleep on so of course it had presure on it which didnt help so i didnt sleep very well. Constantly waking up then dozing off again. So at about 7.30 am i got up, had more painkillers and warmed the wheatbag up in the microwave and went back to bed with said wheat bag held on my face and watched tv till about 10 am then got up and had some toast. Glad to say its eased off now, which is a releif.

Now the eyes bit...my gran had her eye done today, had the cataract removed (she had the other eye done a couple years ago). Everything went well and she has to go back to have it checked tomorrow. So me and dad will take her to the hospital. And also tomorrow its grans 93rd birthday We had a little party for her last Sunday at our house. So there were 6 of us...me, mum, dad, gran, her neighbour Jane and my mate Darren. I baked a yummy sponge cake (filled with jam and cream) and made 2 trifles. We all had a good day

Had a few days of glorious weather. Blue skies, sunshine, literly no wind, even a little bit warm. Think thats past now though, cus it was cold again today. Hope we get more nice weather.

Uncle Bobs funeral is next Wednesday. Dads booked his plane ticket. Will have to reschedual Bobbys appointment at the grooming parlour though.

My DVD player started acting up lasnight. Either the disc started jumping or it kept sayin that it was a bad disc. I tried my old DVD player....that didnt worl either. There was no sound and the picture looked a little bit green. So shall look for a new one on Saturday, multi-region of course. I can watch DVDs on the laptop though, which is good.

Yeah, we got sad news today from my cousin John (who ive never met) that my Uncle Bob has died A heart attack, he said. Id only met Uncle Bob once, a few years ago at my nephew Josephs christening. He was really nice. I remember we sat and had a nice chat. We're all still kinda in shock. Dad's gonna fly across to the funeral (Uncle Bob was married to one of dads sisters, my Auntie Alice). Id go too but i have to stay home and help look after mum and the pets. So yeah, im feeling down. But im glad i got to meet him, even if it was only that once.

Went to Darrens today and finally got to play on his Wii He showed me the Wii Sports, which looked fun and i just might have a go next time. Super Mario Galaxy is brilliant!! I love it! If i ever get a Wii id deffinatly get that, also Super Paper Mario looks fun too. Also while i was down there me anmd Darren booked tickets (for me, him,our friend Tracy and my dad) to see the Chinese State Circus in March up in Douglas! I cant wait! We've never seen them before, but from what ive heard they are amazing! Would love to see cirque du soleil aswell. Thatd be amazing too.

Its Darrens last week on the office course next week. I think he's enjoyed it
