By eck, its a hot one today. Like a furnace in that factory, i can tell ya, even with ALL the doors and windows open and fans blowin. The heats also caused a lot of grass fires over the weekend. Had one today just yards from th efactory next to the railway line. Could hav ebeen caused by sparks from a passing train. But the fire service turned up fast and quickly put it out. What would we do without the fire fighters, eh?

Other new, this is my last week at Strix. handing in my notice tomorrow. Got next week off holiday anyway, then after next week, the factory will close. Wonder if it'll end up like the old factory down here in Port Erin, where i live. makes me feel sad, seeing it empty and all the ground windows boarded up. Been like that since it shut about 5/6 years ago. I miss that place sometimes.
