Just found out that i have to be in work at 7.15 am 
Gona be very busy apparently so.....i shall grin and bear it and hope my cold behaves its self. I guess 7.15 isnt too bad, really. I start at 8am a lot so,and who knows maybe i'll get out a bit earlier. Hmm, could get more money too.

....chooooooooooooooooooooo!!! *blows nose for the umpteenth time* I am full of a cold. Have been since yesterday. Really bunged up and i think my sinus is hurting a bit. Taking Sudafed capsules and using Vicks Sinax (you squirt it up ya nose to help unblock it) oh and a lot of tissues. But its my day off tomorrow so i can have a rest and take it easy. Oow, i just been out helpin bring the washing in and boy did the sun ever hurt my eyes....shoulda put my shades on.
Other than that im ok. Works still goin ok. Got the RAF lot comin in on Friday.

New TV and Mario Kart

After weeks of waiting and looking i finaly managed to get me the Mario Kart game for the Wii, complete with steering wheel. So now i have 2 wheela cause i baught the sports pack...so i now have 2 wheels, a tennis racket, a baseball bat, glof club and game controler type thing. Also i got a new TV from Tesco....UMC, 22" screen, HD ready (dunno if we'll ever get HD but hey) AND built in DVD player
Works still going ok, but its not to busy at the mo...we have 1 school in at the moment. Having a military group in on the 4th July (RAF i think). Probably over for Tynwald day (parliment type thing) which is the 5th July.
Oh yeah and its been raining loads all day!

Yup, its almost here...the TT Motorcycle races
Which means the hotel will probably be pretty busy over the next week. Im down as working to 4pm Sunday, Monday & Tuesday but i'll probably be out earlier that that. And extra hours means (hopfuly) more money. Its gotten warm here again, wasnt expecting it too heh heh but its nice 
My nephew Peter has had a bit of a misshap....he fractured his thumb while playhing basketball at school...ouch!
I'm sure he'll be alright though.

Goodnews is that he's home now, with 4 stitches but he's feeling a load better now
Not sure how long he has to have the stitches in but it shouldnt be too long.

My little Whisper is at the vets. He'd been under the weather all day...hasnt drunk or eaten or been in the little tray. We took him to the vets and the lady vet (not our regular vet) looke dhim over and found a large wound under his left arm. He's eithr caught it or he'd been in a scrap. So she's kept him in and is gonna stitch it up tonight. HOpfuly he can come home tomorrow. We were so worried that it was gonna be like when he was a baby when he had the bug or infection or whatever it was. Hope he'll be alright

Well, works still going ok. Had a ot of school kids in lately. Must be nice for them to get away for a while.Poor Darren has been sighned off for a couple of weeks by his dr, because he did his back in. He's on painkillers and antiinflamatories, and also having physio aswell. Hopfuly he'll be ok.
Also been pretty warm here too. im starting to come out in a rash on my arms, as usual when its hot. I dont complain though.

Wow, the last couple days have been really warm and sunny and apperently its gonna be that way tomorrow too. Wonder how long its gonna last?
There was an ambulance outside the hotel this morning. Turns out one of the elderly guests was having chest pains
Hope they'll be alright. IM in at 8 again tomorrow on toast duty for an hour then housekeeping till 12, then home then off up to Douglas to wander round the shops n stuff. Yes, im still enjoying my job Oh and me and Darren are gonna go see Ironman at the cinema sometme

I finally feel like blogging a bit. Been very tired last couple of days but im feeling better now. Anyway, i did my first stint in the hotel kitchen on Wenesday morning. Iwas shown how to make the toast. Pretty nifty contraption too...its sorta like a conveyor belt. 2 slices of bread fit side by side then slowly mve through the grill, i'll call it, then they fall off the end and slide down back to the front ready for cutting and serving. Then i did the washing up, which was pretty good too. Down in the kitchen tomorrow mornin again for an hour or so. Then off to Darren in the afternoon ten me, him and Tracy are going to the circus (again). This time is Cirque Surealle, home of Cirque De Celebrtie (as seen on TV, im sure you'll know what i mean). Looking forward to that.
So yeah the jobs still goin well and im stll liking it
